Midlife Transition

Midlife is a time of significant change to our relationships, identity, physical health, and psychological growth.

When we reach middle age the physiological and psychological shifts that occur can elicit a wide range of emotions ranging from liberation to overwhelm. Until recently, this phase of a woman’s life has been mostly unaddressed due to outdated science amidst cultural ageism that sends a message to women that aging is the beginning of the end.

This message is a huge disservice to the gifts this phase of life brings.

In midlife, we have valuable life experience and earned wisdom that needs to be honored - not dismissed. Instead of a midlife crisis, this time can be a midlife chrysalis that embodies what fosters nourishment of mind, body, and soul.

How I can help:

I have been a witness to and supporter of women navigating midlife my entire career. As a woman now in her 50’s, I have navigated perimenopause and menopause myself, and the physical and psychological changes this time of life embodies. I am still on that path, but I understand the importance of having support and up-to-date knowledge for managing a time of great inner and outer change.

Having resources of support is crucial for feeling less overwhelmed and alone during a time of life that should be celebrated, not dreaded. I am passionate about helping women to take back the reins and reclaim what helps them come alive and thrive during midlife and beyond.
