-
Holistic psychotherapy is more comprehensive and provides a safe space for exploring past and current influences on thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my therapeutic approach, I utilize an eclectic mix of theories, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, humanistic, existential, and mindfulness for healing emotional wounds and fostering self and relational empowerment.
Wellness coaching is more directive and goal-oriented. The root of certain behaviors are touched on but not as deeply explored, and the focus is on collaborated upon action plans and skills-building through practicing new behaviors. My wellness coaching approach emphasizes eating and exercise psychology, is strengths-based, and aimed at helping women to become their own authority around their health and wellness, and to navigate life transitions with self-compassion.

While there is a little overlap between services - the overlap is minimal, so it is in your best interest to have these services separated between different providers if both services are needed. If we start coaching and find that therapy is needed instead of or in addition to our work together, I can help you find a therapist who is licensed in the state you reside. We can determine what would initially be of best support to you in our initial phone consultation I offer to all prospective clients.
